■作品コンセプト
今回の展覧会でメインとなるのは「象」シリーズ。
「象」という漢字は、動物のゾウをかたどった象形文字である。
古代の人はそのあまりの大きさからゾウを「カタチ」の象徴とし、「カタドル」という言葉にこの文字をあてた。人々が同じモノやコトを見たとしても、一つとして同じカタドリは存在せず、また自分のカタドリも刻々と変化する。私は一つ一つの漢字に憑依し、筆をはしらせる。

■ work concept
This character, which is the motif of this work, is a Kanji character that means "elephant", and is a hieroglyph in the shape of an animal elephant . Because of its enormous size, ancient people regarded the elephant as a symbol of 'shape' and expressed the word 'shape' with this character. Even if people see the same thing or appearance, they will never take the same shape, and my shape changes from moment to moment. I haunt each Kanji and move my brush.
